We invite you to discover and experience our beach yoga classes and our indoor classes at Kynett Methodist Church in Beach Haven.  Blocks and straps will be provided.  We request that you bring your own mat, however we will a few extras available.  

All our classes are designed for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced.  

Chair Yoga

Suitable for all levels.  

Not everyone can get up and down off the floor easily making traditional yoga classes difficult.  This gentle class uses both the yoga mat and a chair and is designed for stretching, strengthening and relaxation.  You will experience deep, rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches in a safe and comfortable setting. WIth the support of your chair, we will move through seated and standing postures.  

 

Gentle Flow

Suitable for all levels.  A well-balanced slower class, this gentle vinyasa class aims to create a tranquil environment.  Movements are connected with breath, with a strong mind-body connection. This class is appropriate for all levels. This one-hour class will focus on traditional yoga in gentle and supported poses, working with the breath to release tension and stress. 

Yin Yoga

Suitable for all levels.  Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more stretching.

All Level Flow

Suitable for all levels with some experience 

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Poses, including, reclined postures, standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers, are held for several breaths to ensure proper alignment, and build strength and flexibility.
